Born in Albania, I currently live and work in New York City since 1996. Started to paint very early in life. I paint constantly and intensively to feed an inner need- My art is the vehicle and the means through which I express and redeem myself.

AWARDS AND HONORS Winner of Delacroix Award, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY 2000 Won first prize and awarded title of Most accomplished young painter in Albania 1988.
Tai Chi has had a great impact on my creativity and work; it has increased the level of my energy and inner balance- more energy means more creativity, and it has further deepened the process of introversion, which is fundamental for one’s creativity.
