Monthly 'Time in the Art' - Classes by senior teachers for all levels

What is Time in the Art?

Let's study the Art of Tai Chi together! Our school has used "Time in the Art"  to refer to a class with a particular focus of study. These monthly drop-in classes are an opportunity to learn various aspects of the 'art' of tai chi chuan and develop skills through focused practice. Time in the Art classes have typically been taught at our in-person training to bring students of all levels together collectively, and Zoom allows us to replicate this for our online tai chi community.

The classes will take place on the third Monday of the month at 1 pm ET.

Nov 15: The Excellence of Drawing with Johanna Koelman

How can you be creative? To be creative it helps to be an open channel. Tai Chi can help with that. Johanna uses the Constant Bear and the Looking Owl on a daily basis to gain inspiration for drawing and to be creative. In this Time in the Art class, you are invited to experience what it is like to be creative.

Bring to class: A4 (8.5" x 11") piece of paper and a pencil/marker
