JOOP BROUWER 

After serving in the Royal Netherlands Navy for 7 years, Joop studied Social Sciences and did his dissertation on the treatment of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. He then worked as a counsellor in the Netherlands Health Service. Having studied Tai Chi since 1982 and an interest in offering a more holistic form of treatment has led him to study acupuncture in 1994.
