Our 43rd annual residential European Summer T’ai Chi Holiday is taking place in Cheltenham (UK) from Sun 13 – Sat 19 August 2023.

We are back at Dean Close, a private boarding school with spacious grounds, where we held our highly successful 2022 event.

For existing T’ai Chi students, the summer holiday is a golden opportunity to give yourself a week to relax, grow and develop your T’ai Chi.

For those who have never done T’ai Chi before, it is the perfect introduction – we always make our group of complete beginners very welcome.

TCF summer holidays attract a wide variety of people from around the globe, from all walks of life and all age groups.

Last year we had 84 participants – this year we hope to expand to around 100.

The classes are taught by some of our most experienced TCF teachers who run local schools in the UK, Europe and the US – all coming together for this event.

The core daily program includes 2 hours of T’ai Chi form, and a further 2 hours of other practices to help embodiment of T’ai Chi principles (eg Qigong).

Extra classes include Hawaiian swimming, meditation and early morning practice rounds. We organize other optional activities every evening.

There is also plenty of free time to simply relax and explore the local area on your own.

So you can choose to do as much – or as little – as you wish.
