Join us for this tai chi retreat on the east coast. At this beautiful location, our event draws students and teachers from around the world, some coming to learn tai chi for the very first time, some coming to advance their current tai chi level. We will include work on tai chi meditation, tai chi form, push hands (sensing hands), and for more advanced participants tai chi sword form/fencing. Something for everyone!

Hawaiian swimming is swimming in a state of calmness, moving through water with tai chi principles.  Moving freely from our center ‘the dantian’ and feeling the energy of the water with our whole body.  We focus on breathing and relaxing as you move through the water.

Hawaiian swimming was introduced to our school by our founder Patrick Watson who had been an aquatic instructor / swim coach / lifeguard. Patrick was passed this art by two Hawaiians, Eddie Ukini and Cliff Kamaka, while in San Francisco in the 1960s.
