“Bringing Calm to Stressful Days”

Taught By Senior Tai Chi Teachers
Stressful days can take a toll on us.
Like storm clouds on the horizon, stress can induce worry, fear, or anxiety and can affect our decision-making, concentration and memory.
Research has confirmed the many ways Tai Chi can benefit your health – including stress reduction, decreased anxiety, better mood, improved balance, increased muscle strength and general mobility – for people of all ages.
This Autumn Workshop will blend the flowing movements and relaxation principles of Tai Chi & Qigong to teach you a set of healthy tools you can use every day to help you feel calm and relaxed.
1st Hour: Reducing Stress & Enhancing Our Emotional Well-Being
2nd Hour: Deepening Our Awareness of a Relaxed Open Structure
3rd Hour: Tools For Your Toolbox of Life
Just as trees calmly release their leaves in Autumn, we can learn to let go of our stress through the calming practice of Tai Chi.
We hope you will join us.
For the workshop, please have a space cleared for movement, a chair ready nearby for sitting upright and a blanket/mat if you’d like to lie down.
