What You’ll Experience At Our Retreat

Every summer retreat offers a rich curriculum designed to meet you where you are and help your Tai Chi grow.  You can be brand new to tai chi or a seasoned student – all are welcome.  Across the week, you’ll explore a progression of classes that give you both depth and variety:

Guided Form Practice & Refinement

Daily sessions in the Cheng Man-ch’ing Yang-Style Short Form, taught step-by-step for newer students and with fine-tuning and principle work for continuing students. You’ll build softness, flow, and a deeper sense of internal alignment.

Daily Qigong & Meditation Practices

Throughout the week, Qigong & Group Meditation sessions help open the body, calm the mind, and regulate energy. Practices may include Roots & Branches Qigong, guided meditations, and breath-based exercises to support vitality and presence.

Special Programs

In addition to core training, all participants are invited to special shared experiences such as Time in the Art, relaxed evening programs, and Hawaiian Swimming  – optional offerings that support integration, connection, and enjoyment throughout the retreat.

Integration & Community Practice

Each retreat includes shared practice sessions where all levels come together.  These sessions create a sense of unity, support, and joy as the entire community find relaxation and flow side by side.
