- Classes in London start – The school is initiated by Patrick, and set up by Richard Royds and Nancy Treharne.
- First European Summer Training, Netherlands – It is held at “de Blind” youth center in the Netherlands. Annual summer trainings continued in the Netherlands and more recently in Ireland, Sardinia and the UK.
- Hawaiian Swimming introduced at the US Summer Training.
- Tai chi classes start in Los Angeles. Started by Neil Gumenick and Janey Weldon. The current LA team comprises Margaret Olmsted & Ben Wegner.
- Classes start in Ireland. Trish McNally begins teaching, Greg, Neil & Patrick visit to help. They also visit Belfast.
- Rhoda & Greg travel to Mexico to teach
