Classes start in St. Albans in the UK with Joop and Lucy Brouwer. When Joop and Lucy relocate to Lancaster in 2013 they continued to run the school from afar until in 2018 when he and Lucy hand over administration to their team of apprentices, and the school became Herts Tai Chi.
