Josephine Liu has been with the New York School of T’ai Chi Chuan since Fall 2022. As an avid HIIT class participant, Josephine was looking for a meditation practice that would complement her fitness journey. That first intro B1 class got her hooked on Tai Chi and the depth and breadth of what Tai Chi offers has not disappointed since. Now her HIIT classes are a complement to her Tai Chi practice.
Outside of Tai Chi, Josephine is a pharmaceutical patent litigator. She was the Global Head of IP Litigation at Sandoz Inc. (formerly a division of Novartis Pharmaceuticals), responsible for a global team of lawyers who appeared in courtrooms worldwide to litigate patent issues. With the help of her science and law degrees, her job was to present highly complex scientific and legal concepts to judges and juries in an understandable way. She also served on the Board of the Fordham International Law Journal Alumni Association for many years.
She welcomes an opportunity to serve the broader Tai Chi Foundation community in its mission to improve health, well-being and awareness through the practice, study and teaching of Tai Chi worldwide.
